Fibrax is a leading UK supplier of quality brake pads, cables and components for bicycles.
History:
Established in 1902 Fibrax has produced moulded parts, predominantly for the Cycle and Automotive Industries, from its base in North Wales since the 1970's. Today brake pads, disc pads and control cables both for bicycles and industrial applications are manufactured at the Wrexham site, as well as rubber and plastic moulded parts, for Automotive and other industries.
Design & Development:
Our team of product development engineers has a wealth of CAD expertise enabling us to actively design, develop and refine our products including new brake block designs, cables as well as automotive components. The high standards demanded by the automotive industry are equally reflected in our production of cycle components.
Manufacturing:
Our manufacturing capabilities include moulding machines from 30 to 560 tonne which are set up to produce polymeric and thermoplastic components together with associated assemblies. Deflashing facilities ensure efficient production of quality finished parts. Our expertise in product development and production covers wide ranging industry sectors, including:
